The successful applicant should either be on the specialist register of the Royal College of Psychiatrists with an endorsement in substance misuse or a Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist / GP with a special interest / Specialist Addiction Doctor. The post holder will have experience in addiction medicine or be registered as a GP with a special interest in Addiction. Other experience will always be considered.Working closely with the Southend on Sea Operations Manager, the Clinical Lead will contribute to service development. This will be achieved through working with a multi-disciplinary team, attending meetings and contributing to audits to ensure that service users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards. An opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Imaging Technologist to join a growing business in the beautiful island of Bermuda!  Along with salary in the region of $93,000 (almost tax free!), you will also receive a good relocation package (for the employee only), including a work permit, initial and end flights and free accommodation for the first 13 weeks or so. Bermuda offers an amazing quality of life with focus very much on outdoor activities such as walking, running, beaches, swimming, and nature. It’s an incredibly welcoming and friendly environment, local buses are excellent, and many people use mopeds.  They are searching for various roles within secondary care, but specifically looking for qualified and experienced level 3 Imaging Technologists for roles to start over the coming months, with availability and happy to commit for 2-year contracts, or to commit to ad-hoc 3–6-month contracts based on a 40-hour week.  As Imaging Technologist, your responsibilities will include: <ul><li>Actioning physicians’ requisitions, produces and evaluates images for diagnostic clarity and possible pathology. Communicating deviations from quality control norms to the Imaging Resource Technologist, Senior Imaging Technologist or Radiologist/Cardiologist as required.</li><li>Operating and maintaining Imaging and Imaging support equipment (PACS cube, PACS, etcetera) in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Transporting and using portable equipment to required hospital areas to perform imaging procedures. Observing all Critical Care area policies, sterile techniques and anaesthesia safety precautions.</li><li>Accepting responsibility for continuing competencies through on-going professional development including participation in educational programs.</li><li>Practicing Radiation Safety and Infection Control techniques at all times.</li><li>May be required to rotate through the imaging modalities to gain experience and / or credentials to work in specialized areas based upon certifications. The modalities include Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Bone Density.</li></ul>Qualifications &/Registration required: <ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution</li><li>Registration/certification from an accredited program: Radiology, CAT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Bone Density. Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council</li><li>Modality (post-primary pathway) CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Densitometry.</li><li>Post-graduate experience required with the applicable certifications from an accredited institution (based on jurisdiction) and actively rotating.</li></ul>
