The Delivery Manager is responsible for providing technical project planning, management and execution for JLL clients to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.  Managing all phases of service delivery for project including analysis and design, configuration and build, testing and training, and deployment.

What this job involves  

As a Client Delivery Manager at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for  

  • Evaluating complex requirements among multiple stakeholders and interprets requirements needed to complete deliverable 

  • Creating initial project proposals, project charters, and statements of work 

  • Creating and managing delivery control documentation, including requirements documentation, work plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and knowledge transfer plans 

  • Managing support team, including analysts, implementation specialists, engineers, and testers 

  • Managing project budgets 

  • Managing and reporting delivery risks and issues 

  • Managing change control process 

  • Managing user acceptance testing and release plans 

  • Managing communications with stakeholders, business transition team, and business and IT management 

  • Participating in business-led change management processes 

  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of customer segments and customer needs 

  • Maintaining thorough understanding of product features and functionality 

  • Overseeing application configuration and support while liaising with architecture, infrastructure, and engineering 

  • Assisting in documenting business needs and identifying appropriate technology solutions

Our Client would like to recruit a Digital Delivery Manager with at least 10 years experience.

As a Delivery Manager you will have a passion for value-driven delivery and motivated to achieve results through flexibility and determination.

You will manage one or more digital projects concurrently with a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled digital team.

Working primarily in an adaptive Agile culture, you will be highly experienced in delivering complex digital projects, managing a range of stakeholders, have an analytical background and an attitude of getting the job done, diving into the detail to make things happen when needed.

You will be responsible for managing both onsite and remote team members and for engaging with the product owners and stakeholders on a regular basis to support product adoption.

The role of Digital Delivery Manager will involve the following:

  • Deliver projects and products using the appropriate methodology – calling upon Agile skills across Scrum, Kanban and Lean
  • Own the planning process and backlog creation - prioritising the work as directed by the Product Owner to achieve value per sprint
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team across different platforms

Our Senior Data Delivery Manager will be a subject matter expert when it comes to marketing data, the delivery of campaigns. 

  • Ensure effective and timely end-to-end delivery of CRM programs across Email, SMS, Push, Web Messaging and Social.
  • Work with the CRM managers to ensure the right content is married-up and deployed workflows within Adobe Campaign.
  • Ensure post selection outputs are fit for purpose and include the appropriate data items for personalisation based on the selected channel requirements.
  • Understand, document, customise and optimise the campaign management process.
  • Govern the campaign platform, monitor of operational systems performance, escalate and resolve any delivery issues.

Your experience:

  • 5+years in database marketing environments.
  • Experience in aligning marketing strategy with clear data capability plans.
  • Utilising campaign delivery tools (a must: Adobe Classic or Standard).
  • While SQL is essential, exposure to any other programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, XML) are also desirable.
  • Experience in Big Data Analytics landscape (Spark, Adobe, Hadoop, SAS, SQL, BI).
  • Use of work queue management software (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Workfront etc).
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer science, or related fields (desirable).
  • Have been involved in CRM migration/transformations and implementations (desirable).
  • Good knowledge of sports, online gaming or gambling (desirable).
  • Knowledge and experience of using Google Analytics and/Tableau/Looker (desirable).

Your skills:

  • Understanding of data management and CRM best practice within multi-channel communications.

Travel Requirement
Travel can be up to 80%. Our projects are based all over the UK.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in Delivery Manager/Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Agile principles, practices, and theory
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately convey technical and non-technical aspects to stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of architectural system design
  • Proven experience in delivering complex, full life cycle software projects
  • Excellent skills and knowledge of supportive leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of multiple Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Knowledge of technologies used to deliver a User focused product gained in a Software Development role
  • Ideally a degree in Computer Science

The scope of the Delivery Manager’s job is multifaceted, demanding a depth and breadth of business knowledge. As a business leader, you will be responsible for managing and driving front-line operations, and executing projects, programmes and services.
To excel in this role, you will use your strategic outlook while maintaining a strong practical focus on day-to-day activities and changing requirements. Balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks, your monitoring and reporting processes will enable a fast response to any issue. As a great communicator, you’ll build a collaborative team, forge strong client and partner relationships, and manage stakeholder expectations internally and externally.
In practice, you will be:
* Responsible for overall project or program delivery and client management.
* Accountable for Managed Delivery practices.

* Mentor and manage Avanade and subcontractor staff assigned to the project

Technical skills and knowledge
* Strong client management skills, gained through experience working with large Enterprise clients
* Strong governance and contract management experience
* Experience delivering agile projects and distributed delivery
* Ideally someone with consulting experience.
* Delivery experience on MS D365 ERP projects would be preferable but other products will be considered.
* MS Certification such as MB-920 would be beneficial.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies, will have some Microsoft Azure understanding (e.g. understand common components and how they are used).
* Communication - Excellent communication skills, capable and confident in CxO meetings, as well as talking to and managing highly technical people
* Process / Compliance - Highly process / quality driven, will drive compliance across teams and projects.
Your qualifications should include a Batchelor's degree in business or a technology-related field. Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI), PMP is preferred, but not essential.

Travel Requirement
Travel can be up to 80%. Our projects are based all over the UK.
If the project to which you are assigned is not within commutable distance, you will usually stay in a hotel room 3 nights per week in order to work on-site 4 days per week. The 5th day is usually worked from home.

We are currently seeking a Delivery Manager specializing in technology delivery to join our JLL Technologies Core Products Client Delivery team. The primary purpose of the role is to lead the development of winning solutions for prospective clients, including technology solution, service delivery processes and tools and the financial analysis that demonstrates the value proposition to our clients.   

The Delivery Manager is responsible for providing technical project planning, management and execution for JLL clients to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.  Managing all phases of service delivery for project including analysis and design, configuration and build, testing and training, and deployment.

What this job involves  

As a Client Delivery Manager at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for  

  • Evaluating complex requirements among multiple stakeholders and interprets requirements needed to complete deliverable 

  • Creating initial project proposals, project charters, and statements of work 

  • Creating and managing delivery control documentation, including requirements documentation, work plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and knowledge transfer plans 

  • Managing support team, including analysts, implementation specialists, engineers, and testers 

  • Managing project budgets 

  • Managing and reporting delivery risks and issues 

  • Managing change control process 

  • Managing user acceptance testing and release plans 

  • Managing communications with stakeholders, business transition team, and business and IT management 

  • Participating in business-led change management processes 

  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of customer segments and customer needs 

  • Maintaining thorough understanding of product features and functionality 

  • Overseeing application configuration and support while liaising with architecture, infrastructure, and engineering 

  • Assisting in documenting business needs and identifying appropriate technology solutions 

  • Defining and documenting functional and technical requirements and assist in defining business requirements
