As a Sustainabilty Consulting Partner, you have strong knowledge of all aspects of sustainability strategy; either through hands on experience and/or academic study. You bring this expertise to bear as you work alongside Clients and Colleagues auditing current sustainability initiatives, advising on best practice and helping define a clear ambition and targets moving forwards.

 

You are responsible for multiple client relationships, have created a business platform from which you generate scale and value and you develop high-level business relations and high-impact projects. You will be expected to play a specific role driving business with Government clients and in corporate reputation.

Your Role at Ogilvy

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will continue to learn and apply advanced consulting skills. You will be developed in the Sustainability specialism and comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining focus on consulting outputs to board level clients.
  • You will own client budgets, multiple workstreams and programmes. You will act largely without supervision and be responsible for managing project resource.

What success looks like

Client Service

  • Provide overarching admissions strategies to students by creating individualised roadmaps and constantly evaluating progress to achieve a student’s primary goals
  • Collaborate with the rest of the students’ Crimson team (Education Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, ECL Mentors) to execute on the student’s roadmap
  • Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula, extracurricular and leadership choices, summer program applications, and standardised test planning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of institutions of higher learning to guide students and parents towards attainable school goals, working with them to create lists of best fit schools of varied competition to maximize acceptance chances
  • Conduct formal consulting sessions with students on a monthly basis (at the minimum), chronicling and sharing with relevant stakeholders notes and action items
  • Maintain reasonable levels of communication with students and families outside of formal sessions through various channels (e.g., email, etc.)

How you’ll know you’re crushing it

  • Expertly support students through the application process
  • Meeting with students at least once a month from the start of their program
  • Achieving the number of students as agreed between Crimson and yourself, that receive admission to at least one university in their program
  • Excellent student feedback, as determined by session feedback and NPS
  • Adherence to established service protocols and timely responses to clients

What skills and experience you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top Canadian university; degree in Business, Commerce or STEM field preferred

Advert- Consultant Gastroenterologist

Applications are invited for a Consultant post in Gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy at the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

The post is for 10 programmed activities however part time applications or job shares will also be considered. The successful applicant will join our close-knit team of seven substantive consultants delivering diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP and screening procedures as well as inpatient care to our dedicated gastroenterology and general medical ward supervising our excellent team of junior doctors. The postholder will also provide an equal share of our out-of-hours GI bleeding rota including evening and weekend lists (1 week in 8). There will also be a commitment to outpatients with 2 clinics and 1 virtual clinic per week.

We are obviously looking for a highly skilled gastroenterologist and endoscopist but also, and most importantly, someone who will bring new ideas and perspectives to our team and help grow and develop our service. An enthusiastic approach to the training of our gastroenterology registrars and upper and lower GI nurse endoscopists will also be important.

The North Middlesex is a University Hospital dedicated to postgraduate teaching and training as well as undergraduate teaching of both local and international medical students.

Candidates must be registered with the GMC and hold a CCT in GIM or appropriate specialty. SpRs within six months of accreditation on the date of the interview are also welcome to apply.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The Stroke service at Watford hospital provides thrombolysis 24 hours, seven days a week in conjunction with East of England Telemedicine Service (out of hours). The thrombolysis service within normal working hours is provided by the local Stroke Consultant team.

The out of hours telemedicine service is a regional service supported by 11 Stroke Consultants and covers 7 Hospitals within the East of England.

The post holder will be expected to contribute to the Thrombolysis rota within normal working hours. There is an expectation that the local out of hours on call thrombolysis service will eventually be provided by the Watford Stroke Consultant team.

We have facility for multi modal imaging with CT angiography and CT perfusion. There is an established pathway that involves rapid assessment in A&E by Stroke Clinical Nurse Specialists who review patients triaged by the ambulance service or the A&E team. There are excellent working relationships with the ambulance service, the ED department and radiology.

We have a close working relationship with Charing Cross Hospital who provide a 24/7 thrombectomy service.

We provide daily TIA clinics and regular Stroke follow-up clinics. The successful applicant will be expected to take part in the provision of a 7 day service as part of a weekend rota i.e. a 3 hour session on a Saturday or a Sunday. The consultant is not expected to be present on site outside of these sessions.

The UK & I Consulting Practice within VC&A provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuer, acquirers and merchants in the Nordics and Baltics. The team is looking for a Consultant to join our strategic consulting practice and play a role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the UK & I region. This role is delivering and implementing projects and solutions and will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Typical projects may include:

  • How does an issuer expand or increase market share in consumer market?
  • How should a credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers?

What we expect of you, day to day.

Qualifications

For this role the key skills required are...

  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting ROI and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to convey a clear message to clients and the business
  • Ability to solve business problems through data driven methodologies and proficiency in some leading edge analytic and business intelligence tools. Business Acumen and Business Analysis Skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information

As a Sustainabilty Consulting Partner, you have strong knowledge of all aspects of sustainability strategy; either through hands on experience and/or academic study. Your Role at Ogilvy

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will continue to learn and apply advanced consulting skills. You will be developed in the Sustainability specialism and comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining focus on consulting outputs to board level clients.

  • You will develop thought leadership on topics that extend and deepen our expertise in corporate, sustainability and government-related subjects
  • You empower others, preempt changing situations and continue to develop your own salability both internally and externally.
