Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a pro-active Cleaner to work in a high-end residential apartment block based in South West London. You would work in a team of Cleaners to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are kept up throughout the development, providing excellent customer service to its residents.

This is a 1-year fixed term maternity cover contract. You must be immediately available as the client would be hosting trial shifts on the development as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a similar role within residential apartments and good communicational skills, you will be a customer service focused individual who enjoys working with the public.

Duties:

·        Keeping the internal and external of the building tidy

·        General cleaning tasks (vacuuming, dusting, etc)

·        Polishing communal areas

·        Reporting any maintenance issues to the property manager

·        Tending the garden (mowing, weeding, etc)

·        Day to day maintenance of the grounds

·        Heavy lifting (taking out bins on a daily basis)

·        Keeping areas clean and tidy for residents

Candidates must undergo relevant vetting checks and be able to provide 2 professional references

We are looking for Housekeepers to join our team based in Somerset, in our offices based near to Junction 23.

As a Housekeeper, you will work as part of a wider team, adopting a ‘Flow Cleaning’ approach to service delivery and maintaining an exceptionally high standard of cleaning across the site.

This is a part time role working 15 hours per week Monday to Friday evenings between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • To support the Housekeeping Team Lead in the organisation of the cleaning schedules and work patterns for the individual flow team within which you will work.
  • Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in a manner consistent with good Health & Safety Practice
  • Maintaining the stock of cleaning materials required.
  • To provide appropriate care and maintenance for the materials and equipment.
  • To ensure that cleaning in your area of responsibility is conducted to the highest possible standard.
  • Ensure the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company at all times.
  • To actively suggest new methods of working which will enhance the level of service delivered to our customer.
  • To ensure that you maintain a smart, presentable and professional image at all times.
