The candidate will have experience as a Copper and Fibre cabling engineer to work predominantly in Southern client sites carrying out the Installation, termination and testing of copper CAT6A and pre-terminated fibre optic cabling systems.
Work on other nationwide sites will be at times required and work will predominantly be carried out at night.

Job DescriptionThe Mill Facility Systems Engineer will work in the Technology department with a variety of tools, supporting various production and post-production teams at the studio in London. They will support users, technologies and workflows geared toward advancing the post-production processes. The engineer researches and evaluates new hardware and post-production tools in order to help make recommendations to our various studio constituents. They will work with members of the Technology Development staff to help with the day-to-day support in the London studio.

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

What we are looking for
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
