Cabin Crew Jobs Overview

Cabin crew jobs offer a combination of customer service, hospitality, and safety responsibilities, and when considered together with the travel element of the job, make for a varied and interesting occupation. It is a job suited for those who enjoy meeting and dealing with people, who can be calm under pressure, work extremely well as part of a team, and also show firm but fair authority when necessary. It also requires a level of physical fitness, as much of the working day is spent standing or working in confined spaces.

Cabin Crew Jobs Education Requirements

A good standard of general education to GCSE level is the usual requirement for getting started in cabin crew work, with previous experience in a flight attendant position, rising to £21,000 with experience. A senior cabin crew member can earn around £25,000. Overtime and flight allowances can increase income, and some airlines offer perks such as discounted flights and generous travel expenses.
