We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager within the South West of England. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the Sales and Service cycle in respect to the counties you are allocated. Typically, this will be around four counties and approximately 50 self-employed local advisor businesses. You'll be responsible for the recruitment, support, coaching, and development of the local advisors to help ensure sales and profit are optimised, whilst also ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.
You'll be building and managing your diary capacity in your geographical area, and ensuring each local advisor has enough leads to run a profitable business, while meeting customer demand for appointments. You’ll ensure your activities deliver a high return on investment, while helping advisors to achieve their earning objectives and work on key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll support and run team meetings for local advisors to support their development, and adhere to the business development cycle of contact, including regular phone contact, 1:1 meetings, and field visits.
You'll work with key stakeholders across the business, in particular the Account Management team to ensure customers within your area receive consistently high levels of customer service. You'll be educating advisors, and ensuring that they understand the importance of working to service best practice KPIs, and when failures in service do occur, you'll be required to provide telephone, starleaf (video conferencing) or face-to-face contact to local advisors and customers, taking full responsibility for service recovery.
You'll have a good degree of sales and management experience, be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to confidently drive sales and sales performance in the field.
