We have a great opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team based in Luton. The Business Analyst will support Randstad UK (RUK) UK Leadership Team (UKLT) sponsored projects, under the oversight of the Director of the Strategic Programme Management Office, in order to ensure that requirements are in line with overall objectives.

- Use business analysis, flow charts, activity diagrams, document analysis and workflow analysis
- Interpreting business needs of internal customers and translating them into the operational requirements
- Working with Technical Business Analysts to ensure full end to end requirements are delivered
- Manage workload with multiple stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of requirements to ensure project timelines are met
- Manage multiple requirements from multiple projects simultaneously
- Confidently articulate the options you have documented as well as the benefits to your chosen recommendation
- Producing written documentation to support the projects as well as reports on finding to present to stakeholders when necessary.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- Demonstrate experience of successfully contributing and collaborating on large projects in a strategic & complex but agile environment
- Attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources to create business requirements
- Evidence of strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of engaging and managing multiple stakeholders
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to form well thought out conclusions and recommendations
- Experience in working with finance functions and recruitment processes a benefit but not essential
- Business Analysis qualifications for example BCS Business Analysis courses

The firm enables leading financial services organisations across Europe to manage the complexity of business transformation. They require a Business analyst who is experienced in working in the front office to work for a banking client of theirs.

The bank is required to comply with the Bank of England’s Resolvability Framework Assessment (RAF). As part of this framework they will develop capabilities to define, execute, and evaluate the impact of a Solvent Wind Down of the Global Markets business as a potential restructuring option. This initiative will also inform the viability of SWD as a recovery option in the bank’s Group Recovery Planning.

You will be responsible for;

  • produce detailed documentation of desk exit strategy for risk reduction (by product, risk type, hedging, timing), including quantification of both market risk and Credit/Counterparty Risk reduction;
