Your job:
  • Pre-audit scoping and preparation, identifying audit risks and performing preliminary evaluation of client's internal control structure to identify weaknesses and areas for management consideration and improvement.
  • Carry out audit planning procedures including the design of audit tests.
  • Complete audit files.
  • Review client-prepared financial statement and other management reports.
  • Responsible for on-site management and supervision of junior team members, providing on-the job coaching to support their on-going development.
  • Maintain good client relationships.
  • Act as an ambassador of the firm, building relationships and promoting the firm at every opportunity to facilitate new business opportunities.

Your experience:
  • Recognised professional qualification (CA, ACCA…etc).
  • Understands the role and function of audit for a large range of different entities and has a good understanding of audit techniques including planning, interviewing, documentation, testing, and conclusions and reporting.
  • Possesses a strong technical knowledge and understanding of current accounting and audit regulations and issues.
  • Has proven client handling experience and the ability to supervise and motivate more junior members of staff.
  • Has excellent communication, skills and can display initiative and good problem-solving ability.
  • Highly PC literate with excellent knowledge of Windows software and accounting systems.

Title: The Financial Reporting Cloud Manager
Location: Dundee, GBR
This position is responsible to lead the organization’s Financial Reporting structure throughout the Oracle Cloud/Finance Transformation journey. The position will work closely with the business and IT to lead the Financial Reporting initiative and the related business process improvement, automation, and training. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of subject matter surrounding current and evolving application solutions, industry standards, best practices, root cause analysis, opportunities, and training. He/she will also work with cross-functional project teams consisting of technical and business unit team members and should have professional level service skills including an ability to communicate, negotiate, and implement processes for the applications involved.
Position Summary:
The Financial Reporting Cloud Manager will be a key partner to implement an automated solution to bring efficiencies to the end to end process through consolidation reporting. This position aligns the finance systems’ roadmap and priorities with business stakeholders and interacts with the application development and support teams including both the ERP and in-house developed applications. This position is the key resource to develop NCR’s future finance reporting footprint.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
+ Engage directly with business, IT, and third-party personnel and provides leadership in the decision-making process related to the financial reporting landscape
+ Work cross-functionally to gain buy-in and resolve issues
+ Work with financial systems users and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup and adherence to system and SOX controls.
+ Work closely with the IT and Finance teams to oversee system administrative tasks as considered necessary for each of the implemented systems.
+ Provides functional and administrative guidance as required to ensure projects are on track.
+ Recommends changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user.
+ Monitors task assignments and completions to ensure timely and quality performance.
+ Own Change Management activities for their area of focus
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; other related degrees or equivalent work experience considered.
+ Knowledge of NCR’s current financial reporting structure
+ Experience automating business processes in a Global company
+ Thorough knowledge of the systems development life cycle including structured analysis, test, and documentation required for building and supporting finance applications.
+ Experience in working with OMCS and Oracle On-Demand / Cloud solutions is a plus.
+ Must be able to deliver and meet timelines in a fast-paces global project environment
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization

We are seeking a new Credit Controller to join our global finance team. As Credit Controller, you will liaise and engage with internal and external customers to resolve issues and ensure that billing and invoicing is completed in a timely manner. What you’ll do to succeed
