An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Christie Patient Centred Research (CPCR) team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust for a Research Fellow to take a lead role in delivering the Trusts plan to increase high quality patient-centred research and implement the CPCR Vision.
Applicants should hold a good degree in nursing, allied health, psychology or other scientific-based subject and have a strong research background with experience of preparing grant applications.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside The Professor of Cancer Nursing and CPCR Senior Research Fellow to advance the patient-centred research profile of the Trust. Working with colleagues in The Trust and at the University, he/she will be expected to develop applications for research grants and secure research funding. The successful applicant will lead the delivery of major research projects, manage day to day activity and additional research staff, be responsible for delivering projects within specified time frames, and ensure presentation and publication of research findings. The post holder will also have a role in supporting the development of clinicians (nurses, allied health professionals and medical doctors) to engage with patient-centred research across the clinical divisions.

We are looking for General Adult Consultant Psychiatrists to join our Community Mental Health Teams in Central Manchester. These posts are based at either the Rawnsley Building on the Manchester Royal Infirmary Site or half a mile from there at The Kath Locke Centre in Hulme.
We are looking to recruit three full time Consultant Psychiatrists (12 Programmed Activities) to provide Clinical Leadership to the Central East and Central West CMHTS. The community teams in Manchester have undergone a major transformation in service model and delivery patterns with reintegration of previously fragmented functions, This will provides seamless community services which are responsive with clear assessment and treatment pathways and discharge routes. In addition there has been £0.75 million pound project to reduce Consultant only caseloads which have traditionally been high in Manchester, It was recognised that these caseloads precluded Consultants working in depth with patients under the team. The new service model no longer allows for step down
