Spearhead all aspects of research required to inform health economic models including systematic and targeted reviews of published literature and health technology assessment agency documentation, covering clinical evidence, economic models, cost studies, quality of life studies, utilities, epidemiology, and burden of illness studies. Design and program health economic models to examine the cost-effectiveness, budget impact, cost-of-illness, disease transmission, budget allocation, and early threshold pricing using decision-analytic techniques such as decision trees, Markov, constrained optimisation, and simulation.
