Judicium act as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for over 1300 schools in England and Wales. Our team of consultants provide advice and documentation when required and help our clients deal with freedom of information requests and subject access requests. In addition, each and every school is visited by one of our consultants for the purpose of preparing and delivering an audit of their data processes. The volume of work is high and extreme logistical efficiency is required if our clients are to receive an excellent service.

About the Role

We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and passionate administrator to help our data protection team to manage the client base and to manage the allocation of work among our consultants.

The successful candidate for this role will carry out the following duties: -

  • Answer incoming phone calls;
  • Book and allocate audits and training sessions for our consultants;
  • Upload contacts on to our systems;
  • Send welcome emails to new clients;
  • Monitor that processes are being followed;
  • Ensure that clients are receiving a high standard of service;
  • Creating users on our compliance dashboard and helping clients who have forgotten their passwords.

As well as other administrative and support tasks.

Requirements

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of the Data Protection team and will need to be:

  1. Extremely well organised
  2. Obsessive about getting the job done
  3. Have an extremely good eye for detail
  4. Flexible and prepared to go the extra mile
  5. Familiar with CRM/web systems
  6. IT literate
  7. 40-60wpm typing speed
  8. To answer phones
  9. To respond to client queries re-login details and visit cancellations/rescheduling
  10. To manage and maintain our documents folder

He/she is likely – but not necessarily - to be a graduate and have several years of experience in a position requiring similar skills to those set out above – ideally in a professional services environment.

The role is normally office-based (in zone 1 London) but is currently based remotely due to the pandemic.
