Admin Job Education Requirements

Employers may not require applicants to have a degree, but in today's competitive job market, they expect those applying for junior administrative assistant jobs to have GCSEs in maths and English, while others may prefer typing, filing and telephone skills to academic qualifications. An applicant can improve their prospects by taking a GNVQ or vocational A-level in Business Administration or Pitman's shorthand course.
