    We are looking for a member of staff who is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn and sales driven. Full training for the position will be provided by us and help will be on-hand every day.

    Duties will include: 
    *Answering phone calls and processing telephone orders
    *Using parts catalogues & vehicle software to identify correct parts and quoting them to customers
    *Dealing with customers via telephone, online and occasionally face-to-face 

     

    The following skills / attitudes will be required for the job:

    Salary starts from £21,000 - £23,000 with the potential for this to increase. Benefits to the role include occasional free petrol / diesel, the ability to work over-time and the potential for a sales bonus scheme to be introduced.

    • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
    • Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
    • Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
    • Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.

    Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician preferred Qualifications:

    • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
    • Experience of high voltage switching.
    • Experience of sortation machines.
    • Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
    • Experience of print and apply machines.

    • Recording the quality control process on the tablet based Vehicle Health Check system and PDI Log
    • Providing feedback to the Technicians on any issues found and organising remedy of such issues
    • Liaising with the Preparation and Handover Teams to ensure consistency of quality control in line with their expectations
    • Providing feedback to the shift Workshop Manager to help eliminate common or recurring faults and ensure continuous quality improvement in the workshop

    The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills be polite with a warm, friendly and enthusiastic personality. You must be able to follow specific instructions and have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work.
