As a Volunteer Warehouse Assistant you'd be: 

  • Sorting donations that come into the warehouse - clothes, books and bric a brac. 
  • Processing books using an app to help raise even more funds for us
  • Sorting small amounts of scrap metal 
  • Help keep the warehouse organised and tidy 

 

No heavy lifting will be required (you won't be moving furniture around) but you'll be moving small objects/boxes etc. 

No experience is needed as full training is provided.

The Defence Primary Healthcare (Dental) are looking for a professional, organised and dedicated Band 3 Civilian Dental Nurse to join their friendly, hardworking team at Dental Centre Warminster, Waterloo Lines, Imber Road, Warminster, Wilts, BA12 0DJ

Our successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Nurse who will work within the Ministry of Defence to provide clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care.

This position is a full-time, part-time or job share post of 37.5 hours per week.

The main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring surgeries are prepared appropriately for the day’s patients in accordance with current regulations.
  • Reviewing the appointment diary at the start of each planned procedure and ensure the appropriate instrument sets are selected.
  • Carrying out and recording daily maintenance, servicing and pre-use checks of dental equipment reporting defects in accordance with current equipment care policies.
  • Ensuring a daily test radiograph is taken and processed with all findings reported in accordance with extant policies and signed off by a clinician or trained individual.
  • Recording accurate dental charting for each patient as required by the dentist.
  • Meeting the needs of the patients by monitoring, supporting and reassuring each individual according to their specific needs, providing appropriate advice when required. This may include recognising and interpreting behaviours, especially those associated with anxious patients and dealing with them accordingly.
  • There may be an occasional requirement for the successful candidate to carry out out-of-hours emergency cover.

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.

While the job will be primarily located at Dental Centre Warminster, applicants must be prepared to travel to and work from other dental centres within the Region when requested by Practice Manager/Regional Headquarters.

Candidates who hold the qualifications but are not yet registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) are eligible to apply for this vacancy. However, if found successful it is a requirement that you are registered with the GDC prior to starting in the post.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Event Organiser)

Cheeki Monkeys are recruiting event organisers for a varied role within our already successful team.

 

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

 

Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all of the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. You must be professionally registered and have experience of the CPA process.
Knowledge of the trust computer systems would be an advantage although training would be given for the right candidate.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage a complex case load. Experience of this would be a distinct advantage.


We are a generic team although we look to have team member’s work toward their individual strengths. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with people towards their recovery. With this you will receive regular supervision and support from the senior practitioner in the team.


The team works Monday to Friday with the core hours of 9-5 and covers a large geographical area. Due to this we encourage remote working and will enable you with the right equipment to do your job.

Description

We're looking for volunteers to help out in our warehouse in Corsham.

Are you friendly, good at working as part of a team and have a good eye for details (and maybe could recognise a valuable plate in a pile of donations?) 

As a Volunteer Warehouse Assistant you'd be: 

  • Sorting donations that come into the warehouse - clothes, books and bric a brac. 
  • Processing books using an app to help raise even more funds for us
  • Sorting small amounts of scrap metal 
  • Help keep the warehouse organised and tidy 

 

No heavy lifting will be required (you won't be moving furniture around) but you'll be moving small objects/boxes etc. 

No experience is needed as full training is provided.
