This post is open to Registered Nurses or Allied Health Professionals with the relevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.

This is an exciting new position within the Healthcare of Older People Department within Torbay and South Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. As an integral part of the growing Consultant Team of 7.23 WTE Geriatricians you will help to shape an develop services for older people in Torbay including those living with frailty who require urgent and emergency care. We are currently redesigning our pathways and seek to ensure that they are accessible, responsive and person centred and most importantly that they support people to remain as close to home as possible whilst still being able to access expert care.

You will have proven senior leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and motivate others and most importantly be as passionate as we are about delivering high quality care to older people, those living with frailty and their families & care givers.

This role is crucial to the delivery of our vision and whilst you will be part of a wider multi-professional team you must be confident in working on your own as a trail blazer for older peoples’ services, making autonomous decisions within the urgent and emergency care footprint, including within ED. The role will be at least 60% direct clinical care with the remaining time focused on education, service development and research.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Cosmetic Formulator/Scientist is responsible for the provision of cosmetics subject matter expertise across our online courses, programs, memberships, free trainings and free resources as well as in support of publications, film production, marketing, customer service and student services.

  • At least 1 year of practical formulating experience of natural and/or organic cosmetics.
  • Logical and scientific approach to formulating and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience of using a range of natural emulsifiers, surfactants, preservatives and other cosmetic ingredients.

Divisional Clerical Relief

Would you like the opportunity to work within a friendly team, fulfilling an extremely busy, varied role within the Coastal ISU. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Divisional Clerical Relief to provide a comprehensive service in the Data Office within General Theatres. Provide ward clerk support on the Intensive Care Unit and secretarial cover in the Pain Management Office.

This full-time post is worked over five days Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). The post holder will need to be flexible as shifts can start at 8:00 am.

The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills both written and verbal and be able to use their own initiative. Be enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible and possess good organisational and IT skills. Team work is essential as well as being able to work on your own at times to cover annual leave and sickness.

This position is very varied and includes working in the Data Office within General Theatres where there is a large amount of inputting data into the computer systems and retrieving reports. Working in the Intensive Care Unit as a ward clerk and providing secretarial support within the Pain Management Department.

This is an exciting new position within the Healthcare of Older People Department within Torbay and South Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. As an integral part of the growing Consultant Team of 7.23 WTE Geriatricians you will help to shape an develop services for older people in Torbay including those living with frailty who require urgent and emergency care. We are currently redesigning our pathways and seek to ensure that they are accessible, responsive and person centred and most importantly that they support people to remain as close to home as possible whilst still being able to access expert care.

You will have proven senior leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and motivate others and most importantly be as passionate as we are about delivering high quality care to older people, those living with frailty and their families & care givers.

This role is crucial to the delivery of our vision and whilst you will be part of a wider multi-professional team you must be confident in working on your own as a trail blazer for older peoples’ services, making autonomous decisions within the urgent and emergency care footprint, including within ED. The role will be at least 60% direct clinical care with the remaining time focused on education, service development and research.
