We're looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Despatch team

This is a versatile role operating counter balance forklift and pallet trucks loading and despatching all finished goods and completion of all paperwork. You'll also be required to assist with the shunting of vehicles, general housekeeping duties and data entry. Previous forklift experience of working in a busy environment is essential.

You'll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have good communication skills and work within Health and Safety guidelines. What you will be doing…

Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions. Your aim is to keep roads congestion free and keep traffic moving.

Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, using the company vehicles to drive to areas and then enforcing, so please consider this before you apply. You will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations.

You will be required to work42.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential.

You must enjoy dealing with people, be friendly polite, and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers. PC skills would also be an advantage, as you will be using a hand held device daily.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Event Organiser)

Cheeki Monkeys are recruiting event organisers for a varied role within our already successful team.

 

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

 

Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all of the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. Our mentoring techniques are valued highly by our existing team of event organisers.

We have significant additional investment in our mental health services in Somerset as a trailblazer site for the Community Mental Health Framework, so that we can offer an excellent service to people with mental health difficulties ensuring that people can have the right help at the right time in the right place.

As part of this expansion in our provision, we are developing a comprehensive package of training and supervision for all our staff in CMHS.
