The community hospitals provide inpatient care for patients requiring rehabilitation from both the hospital and community, Bluebird Lodge has 28 beds and Felixstowe Community hospital has 16 beds.
The post holder will be based at Bluebird Lodge and will also be required to work cross sites at Felixstowe Community Hospital each week. The hours of work a week are 22.5 hours and this will be: 08:30 – 16:30 hours Monday, Thursday and Friday with 2 days based at Bluebird Lodge.
The post holder will be part of the team responsible for the administrative service for inpatients at the Community hospitals. Duties will also include working at reception/admin office, updating computer-based administration systems, and dealing with telephone and email queries from patients and clinicians. General office admin tasks may entail preparing patient packs, photocopying and filing.
You will be part of a small team of administrator’s who provide cover to the inpatient areas. You will receive appropriate training to enable you to support all community hospitals when required.
The successful candidate will have a proven record in a customer service or administrative role, have excellent communication skills and be flexible to the demands of the service.

Main Purpose of the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a GP to join our team and to work in an innovative practice in Saxmundham, to support Partners and five salaried GPs to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload. The appointee will also have the opportunity to mold the role, leading on key disease management and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including minor surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations (e.g. Insurance Companies) on behalf of the Practice, referral letters paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
