The First Step (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies – IAPT) Team operates across North Cumbria. The administration hub is in place to support the day to day running of the service.

Acting as the focal point of communication to and from the First Step service you will work as part of a team primarily taking telephone calls from service users, health professionals, other agencies and the public. The role will include processing incoming referrals from patients and professionals, booking and cancelling appointments, typing, photocopying and inputting data into the First Step information system. Calls can often be of a sensitive and of a delicate nature therefore you are required to have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and experience of customer service would be advantageous.

You will need to have experience in administrative systems, be able to use computer software packages including Word, Excel, other information systems, demonstrate team working skills and be committed to ongoing professional development.

The hub operates Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm and you will be required to work shifts within those hours and be flexible in order to meet service need.

The Role

Tata Steel Strip Products UK is seeking a Temporary Works to join it's Project Engineering and Delivery team and help deliver an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects. Our projects are both strategically important to the UK Strip Steel business and in many cases high value and technologically complex.

This role requires a excellent understanding of temporary works processes, designs and procedures, and how they are applied in use. You should be a problem solver who can work with a large number of stakeholders to agree solutions and help teams achieve a common goal. You should also feel comfortable with data and basic data management tools, to be able to quickly share updates on progress.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of personal and team Health and Safety ensuring that:
    • The working environment is organised, respectful, inclusive, healthy and appropriate for the work being undertaken
    • Ongoing engagement takes place with direct, indirect and contractor teams
  • Manage input from multiple projects in relation to the TW requirements, competencies, training and on-site delivery.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates openly with vendors, internal management and other engineers/managers in the Projects and Design Engineering team
  • Collaborates in a cross-functional team environment to drive initiatives
  • Coordinates resources, provide clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks where appropriate

Competencies, Skills and Experience Required

  • Key Requirement
    • Chartered civil or structural engineer with minimum of 8 years' experience of all types of temporary works construction processes on site, or:
    • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in civil & or structural engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience of all types of temporary works construction process on site, or:
    • Educated to HND / HNC (or equivalent) in civil & or structural engineering with a min of 15 years' experience of all types of temporary works construction processes on site
  • Received up to date formal temporary works training
  • In depth knowledge of BS 5975:2008+A1:2018
  • PAS 8811:2017 & PAS 8812:2016
  • Will need to acquire an in depth knowledge of TSSP UK's Temporary Works Policy & Procedures
  • Maintain, audit and verify all TW Permits/Certificates on TSSP UK's Electronic Temporary Works register
  • NEBOSH Qualified to National General Certificate level
  • Engineering knowledge and understanding (ability to read & understand technical drawings and specifications)
  • Experience of design principles, current codes of practices
  • Experience in a management and or leadership role
  • A demonstrated ability to act autonomously with regard to decision making within their area of expertise (ability to identify & agree competencies of proposed TWC's, ATWC's, TWS's, TWD's & TWDC's)
  • Ability to verify / audit contracting companies temporary work procedures
  • Have a sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Welfare legislation, hazards and safe systems of work.

An exciting opportunity has become available for An Assistant Practitioner to join our Eden Memory and Later Life Team.

The team offers assessment, treatment and intervention to those experiencing memory problems and mental health problems alongside older age needs. The team works collaboratively with other services within our trust and works closely with Adult Social Care and the third sector, with our focus on people living well with dementia.

Within the team we have an Early Memory Pathway, a Complex Needs Pathway and Care Home Education and Support Service (CHESS).

The team includes Registered Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Support Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Administrative Staff who work closely together as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

This role would be based within our Early Memory Pathway and would involve titration of medication, providing post diagnostic support and carer support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered healthcare professionals to support the delivery of a vaccine for Covid-19 in Penrith via the Staff Bank. This programme of work will be the biggest immunisation programme of our time and will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be responsible for multiple duties such as clinical assessment, possible dilution and drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials and additional clinical support.

We are looking for organised individuals who can manage their own workload and you will need to be a good communicator with the ability to promote excellent team and interdisciplinary relationships. You will be a Registered Health Care Professional who is able to work on your own initiative, meet tight deadlines and will need to hold good analytical skills. In addition, you will need to be able to undertake sound decision making when faced with changing clinical situations. Appropriate training and supervision will be provided to ensure you flourish in your role.

The First Step (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies – IAPT) Team operates across North Cumbria. The administration hub is in place to support the day to day running of the service.

Acting as the focal point of communication to and from the First Step service you will work as part of a team primarily taking telephone calls from service users, health professionals, other agencies and the public. The role will include processing incoming referrals from patients and professionals, booking and cancelling appointments, typing, photocopying and inputting data into the First Step information system.
