As part of a fun, close-knit team, you'll 'pick' stock for specific stores and load them onto the right pallets – ready for our Drivers to collect.
Receiving instructions through a headset, you'll need to be on the ball and pay close attention to details that matter, such as store numbers. It also means always checking that the relevant paperwork is accurate. Our twilight shifts could be working in our Ambient or Chiller department (dependant on location). Shifts for these positions start later on in the afternoon/evening and run until the early hours of the morning, with an 18% night rate premium. We do things our own way at Aldi. The post is full time but we would consider applications to work less than full time. This is a strategic public health role focussing on prevention in primary and community care, and the work supports a key priority area of the Building a Healthier Wales strategy – to minimise the impact of clinical risk factors and the burden of disease. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, this priority is even more pertinent as people with clinical risk factors have been at greater risk from Covid-19 and Covid-19 has amplified disparities in health and wellbeing across Wales. The ability to deliver evidence-based, preventative approaches to health and care has never been more important.
The work also closely aligns to the Primary & Community Care Annual Planning Framework 2021-22 and the national plan for the Strategic Programme for Primary Care.
The work will involve contributing to the development of programmes to support clusters, local health boards, local public health teams and other partners embed preventative approaches. This will involve leading elements or working in partnership to support the delivery of those programmes.
