Are you a Band 5 Staff Nurse looking for a challenge in a new exciting role within our Minor Injuries Unit at Minehead and Bridgwater?

No two days are the same!

The role involves initial assessment , wound care, assessment, and closure , plastering, administrating medication under PGD, and assisting the Nurse Practitioners in their role.

As a dynamic team with a broad scope of advanced practice including both injury and illness, we embrace variety and the challenge of learning something new every day.

We have a supportive senior nursing and management team who actively encourage innovation and education in order to achieve the highest standards of care and have a comprehensive CPD programme.

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

An opportunity for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse / Occupational Therapist has arisen to work within the Older Person’s Mental Health Team, predominantly based in West Somerset. You will be delivering high quality mental health support for older adults with severe and enduring mental health illnesses within a Community setting.

The role is to undertake the management of a defined caseload with a focus on working with individuals and their significant others who experience a complex range of mental health needs and difficulties and supporting in the diagnosis of those suffering from Memory Loss and supporting in their assessments . You will be a key member of the Multi Disciplinary Team working within an Integrated Service.

We have developed Neighbourhood Teams across the County and will be integrating with the Taunton Older Persons Mental Health team. Consequently whilst this role will be predominantly based in Minehead, you will be part of the Taunton and West Somerset team and required to travel across this area at times.

MS Teams Interviews expected to be held on 10/11 February 2021.

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

 

Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all of the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. Our mentoring techniques are valued highly by our existing team of event organisers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic computer skills and access to the internet
  • Access to Microsoft Office to be able to open documents in MS Word & Excel
  • An interest in planning and coordinating community events
  • You should be an individual who enjoys being part of a team
  • You should be a people person, willing to make new friends
  • You should have the ability to create relationships with people from all walks of life
  • You should possess a good command of both verbal and written English

 

Being helpful, friendly and welcoming are the most essential attributes required to succeed as an event organiser.

The role involves initial assessment , wound care, assessment, and closure , plastering, administrating medication under PGD, and assisting the Nurse Practitioners in their role.
