Purchaser required to manage the buying of parts and stock for our clients UK wide Wind Turbine maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate must have experience in purchasing, ideally for the wind industry, and handling a wide range of administrative support. They will be able to work independently in a busy working environment and be extremely organised, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a diverse team.
The Stores Purchaser will be working in the heart of the whole operation keeping the day to day running of the Stores Department as effective and as efficient as possible. The candidate will work very closely with the Stock Controller, Stores Administrator and Stores Assistants to support the Stores department.
Desirable qualifications for the role are:
  • A good understanding and/or relevant experience in a similar role within the wind industry
  • Good knowledge of equipment and processes for wind turbine sites
  • Good knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
  • Knowledge of purchasing and administrative practices and procedures
  • A proven ability to work methodically and cope well under pressure
  • Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility independently
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
  • Attentive and a strong attention to detail

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

About you:

  • With a minimum of 2 years Bodyshop Polish experience

  • With a keen eye for detail, quality and who takes pride in their work 
  • With a flexible attitude to working hours and overtime

Copart is also intrinsic to the waste management, recycling and disposal of end-of-life vehicles which has been deemed critical and therefore are able to remain fully operational whilst ensuring social distancing measures are met, during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Copart currently owns and manages a fleet of over 300 vehicles that are a combination of vehicle transporters and plant machinery along with LGV Class 1 Drivers. Our Transport Operation handles the collection and delivery of predominantly accident damaged cars, vans, LGVs and other vehicles on behalf of insurance and automotive customers to industry leading service levels, across 15 geographically dispersed UK operations centres. The significant majority of these movements are undertaken through a fleet of wholly owned bespoke designed salvage transporters and employed drivers operating within the facilities.
We are currently seeking experienced HGV/LGV Drivers to join our team at our Whitburn Operations Centre.
Working mostly Monday to Friday you'll benefit from a better work/life balance and have more time - whether it's for raising a family, hobbies or for relaxation.
And in return we offer an initial training rate of £30,000 for experienced LGV drivers as well as excellent additional earnings opportunities that could see a total package of around £32,500 per annum, which includes a quarterly performance related reward. This is based on an average working week of 48 hours.
If you collect or deliver more cars the opportunity to earn more doesn't stop!
A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers vehicles of all shapes, sizes and conditions and therefore the role can be physically demanding. In addition to being a Class 1 or Class 2 driver with a current LGV Licence, you'll need to demonstrate a valid DQC, have relevant driving experience, have extensive driving experience in both rural and urban environments as well as possessing great communication and customer service skills.
This is also a fantastic career development opportunity! If you have a Class 2 licence and you would like to progress to a Class 1 licence, we can provide you with the necessary training and development you require, after an initial period.
