Letchworth Garden City, also known as Letchworth, is a town located in Hertfordshire, in the east of England, with a population of approximately 33,000. In 1899, Ebenezer Howard redeveloped the former village, turning it into one of the first garden cities in the world, bringing it international fame and recognition. Even Lenin heard about it and visited it in the 1930s. Letchworth is a well-connected town, situated about 20 miles north of the M25, and a popular location for job seekers, as it lies within commutable distance of the capital.
