As a Hotel Services Assistant, you will become an active member of our team working closely with other disciplines.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who is eager to learn and to develop themselves and work flexibly across our sites to support service delivery.

Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided. However a full, clean driving licence is essential.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and wants to make a difference to our patients’ experience and who demonstrate values and personal qualities that support the DCHS way of working.

1 post x 20 hours per week, on a fixed term basis for up to 6 months.

These are generic posts, working in various areas of our service as required, eg portering and domestic duties.

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (DHCFT) has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, to work within Erewash Older Adult Community Mental Health Team.

The work will involve supporting older adults with mental ill health who live predominantly in the Erewash area.

Due to the geographic area covered by the team, there will be occasions where working in other localities will be required. As such you will need to have the ability to travel across a large geographical area.

You will need to have recent relevant experience of dealing with older people with organic and functional, mental ill-health, preferably in a community setting.

There is an expectation that you will be able to work in co-operation with a multi-disciplinary team and develop links with other statutory and independent sector agencies.

This is a very supportive team and you will be encouraged to continue your professional development with the help of regular supervision and access to training opportunities.
