We are currently recruiting for a Laser Operator for a car body panel company based in the Rochdale area.
This is a permanent role, and is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company during a period of sustained growth.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The setting and operating of an LVD ‘Helius’ laser and ‘Orion’ laser cutting machines, which uses Nitrogen/Helium lasers with variable beam control to cut mild steel sheets and produce flat shapes for pressing/forming
- Cutting sheet steel, up to 5mm in thickness
- Working with coated EZ/IZ mild steel sheet and CR
- Helping and assisting with maintaining the machinery when required
- Stock production & keeping stock levels maintained
- Using the nesting software to generate cutting paths for both of the lasers
Required Skills:
- A background in laser setting, cutting and the operating of lasers is required
- A forklift license would be an advantage
- Training will be given but the role requires someone with an understanding to hit the ground running
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, lunch break and morning/afternoon breaks
Salary:
- £10.00 hourly rate

Cheeki Monkeys are recruiting event organisers for a varied role within our already successful team.

 

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

 

Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all of the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic ward clerk to work as part of an exciting multi-disciplinary team on a busy mental health ward at Birch Hill Hospital in the pleasant rural location of Wardle outside Rochdale and near Littleborough.

This could be you if you are: experienced with basic office administration tasks, good with filing and data entry, skilled with IT and related tasks, used to working with office systems and procedures, care about the job you do and especially about the patients for whom we are delivering it. Job Summary

  • To work as part of a team to support the ward and to liaise with other professionals that enter onto the ward.
  • To greet patients, visitors in a positive polite manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Filing all patient documentation in patient case notes accurately. Maintaining patient case notes in tidy and workable order
  • Input data onto Paris system with regards to admissions, discharges, home leave and return to the ward, also transfers and adding patient details, and making sure the relevant questions are answered in regards to patient history.
  • Printing all relevant paperwork and putting in the case notes / kardexes and contacting the services on admission/discharge and also discharge scanning electronically sending documents to GP’s.
  • Tracking of patient case notes on Paris Plus and Paris, creating new case notes and recording these, requesting medical records and community notes and making sure of return via porters within Birch Hill Hospital and arranged courier delivery when the patient is transferred to an out of area destination.
  • Inputting aspects of payroll on the Smart system
  • Other data entry tasks as required
  • Collection and distribution of patient and staff mail
  • Taking messages for staff and service users and accurately relaying them.
  • Take messages, documents, and specimens to other departments as required
  • Requisition for repairs and maintenance of the ward environment and equipment.
  • Report repairs and chase to make sure all has been carried out
  • Checking and maintaining stocks of goods used on the ward, working with the housekeeper regarding inputting of order.
  • Inputting of non-stock orders and working with supplies/stores.
  • Deal with incoming calls professionally ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Photocopying and faxing as required by nursing staff.
  • Arrange patient appointments, chase appointments up, booking patient transport.
  • Attending all mandatory training and any other training identified as necessary by manager or identified in IPDR.
  • To receive annual IPDR from Line Manager.
  • Also accept management supervision from Line Manager.
  • To report all adverse incidents, complaints or health and safety issues to the ward manager or nurse in charge.

All new starters to Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust who are appointed to a post which requires a Disclosure Barring Certificate check (DBS) will be recharged for the full cost of the check.
