Project Solver is currently looking someone like you who is a qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team of highly trained and highly professional members.

Duties include:

•Diagnose and rectify faults, upgrades, finals, and any maintenance duties in accordance with contract specification, technical drawings and 18th Edition requirements
•Perform full test and Inspection on all works and the correct completion of NICEIC certification in preparation for Supervisor authorisation
•Operate within the appropriate Health & Safety regulations ensuring the working environment, property and occupants are safe and secure at all times
•Take responsibility for the training, progression and management of an accompanying Apprentice, ensuring that they follow all required standards, company expectations and that their development is reported for appraisal purposes

Qualifications Required:

•City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3,
•City & Guilds 2382 18th edition
•City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Test and Inspection Qualification
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in Electrical installation condition reports

Experience Required:

•Minimum 2 years’ experience as a fully qualified Electrician
•Experience of Testing and Inspection, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings
•Familiar with NICEIC requirements
•Successful Apprentice Training (with evidence), and the ability to coach and advise
•Exceptional communication and organisational skills, and able to work in a methodical and calm manner
•Excellent attention to details, ensuring accuracy, and able to work under pressure to achieve required Client Service Level’s and KPIs
•Calm under pressure and able to work on specified time bound tasks
•Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, or with an apprentice when required
•The ability to use own initiative, but also know when matters need to be referred to Senior Management Team
•Presentable and able to undertake duties in line with Managements’ recommendations and instructions
•Adhere to company policy, and in accordance with client requirements

Main objectives

You will be required during the development of new projects (including complex mechanical components) to produce high quality, technically accurate, drawings and documentation.

To present building designs to clients or management for approval.

To interact with other building designers and professionals to exchange ideas on techniques/style for structural plans.

Prepare and present job proposals to clients, emphasizing ability to deliver architectural designs that meet set requirements including reworking and modifying designs as may be requested by clients or management

Act as mentor and guide junior designers in the preparation of structural designs and models.

Responsibilities

•Gather and collect design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs.
•Prepare architecture design based on design requirements.
•Submit architectural designs to management and clients for review and approval.
•Support and guide designers involved in preparing drawings.

Essential Skills/Experience

•2D AutoCAD – Essential. 3D AutoCAD/Advanced Steel– Advantageous but not essential.
•Must have 3d modelling experience such as, Tekla/Solidworks/bocad/SDS2
•Proven Construction / Steel Fabrication background. Ideally in the steel fabrication / architectural metalwork industry.
•Experience of working to design standards.
•Understand manufacturing technologies, processes techniques and installation procedures.
•Use of in-house systems and standard drawing office procedures for design processes.
•Good communicator – Written and Verbal.
•Proven experience of working to deadlines and programme.
•‘Can do’ attitude who can work well under pressure.
•Willing to go above and beyond to achieve high level results.
•Site surveying experience advantageous.

Reporting directly to the Stores Supervisor, this role will involve assisting with the day to day running of a busy Stores department to provide a proactive and efficient service. The role will require a flexible approach and the ability to multi task is essential.

Stores Person - Main Responsibilities:

- Assist with the day to day running of the Stores department

- Issuing tooling, consumable and rotable aircraft parts to engineers

- Receiving and inspecting a wide range of aircraft parts in line with operational procedures

- Ensuring correct material handling and storage conditions are maintained in line with regulation standards

- Ensuring all dispatched items are routed via the appropriate carriers paying particular attention to the carriage of dangerous goods

- Performing inventory control, paying particular attention to shelf life items and tooling due for calibration

- Creating documentation and maintaining logs and archive files

- The control and disposal of waste products in line with company and environmental

regulations

Stores Person - Skills and Experience Required

- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in a logistics environment (Preferably in the aviation industry)

- Previous experience with regards to Quality Inspection and be conversant in aerospace trace documentation

- Computer literate with experience in ERP software and Microsoft Office

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Full Clean UK Driving License.

- A current counterbalance license would be desirable.
