Fakenham is a civil parish found within the greater district of Norfolk. As of the 2011 census, this town had a population of 7,617 residents and 3,292 households. Fakenham has a rich history, with records dating back to the times of the Saxons. Having undergone significant modernisation in recent years, the location is now known for a renovated and clean city centre. This feature alone enabled it to be voted the seventh-best town to live in throughout Britain, according to a quality of life survey conducted by Country Life. The cost of living within Fakenham is reasonable. The Guardian states that the average value of a detached home can range between £165,000 and £300,000.
