We are looking for Waiting List Coordinators to support the central admissions service at the Enfield Civic Centre. The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Coordinate theatre lists, bookings and admissions of patients in line with the principles of the 18-week target and ensure the Trust’s Elective Access policy is applied fairly and consistently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all times with patients regarding their bookings, as well as with clinicians and operational teams to ensure a smooth and effective process for patients and staff operating within the 18-week framework.
• Ensure all patient data is entered correctly into PAS.
• Use the RTT PTL to ensure RFL targets are met in regards to booking, dating and waiting times for admission.
• Maintain a regular ‘look forward’ report of upcoming theatre lists, ensuring all lists are fully booked and locked down at 2 weeks. Escalate any capacity issues with management.
• Ensure an efficient and timely transfer of patients from the Trust’s waiting list to external agencies.
• Organise consultants admissions diaries and arrange patients admissions to theatres
• Ensure collaborative working with the Clinical and Operational teams’ to book planned waiting list initiatives.
• Ensure patients are notified of their admission dates with sufficient notice by letter and/or telephone.
• Ensure bed managers, wards, theatres and medical records are aware of patient’s admission dates.
• Work with other teams so that services are provided in a way that meets the needs of the patient.
• Support and promote team working and have a clear understanding of the aims of the service.
• Identify plan and book services in order to meet specific patient needs essential to admission, such as interpreters and transport.

Applications are invited for post of Locum Consultant Psychiatrist for Enfield Integrated Community Team for People with Learning Disability at Central and North West LondonNHS Foundation Trust. The post is based at St Andrew’s court, Enfield EN1 3SY. This is a fixed term appointment; both duration of employment and job plan are negotiable.

The post offers the opportunity to join a well established and dynamic service committed to multidisciplinary working, and the development of high quality services in a number of different specialist areas. Innovation and commitment are welcome attributes in applicants. The Learning Disability Services of Central and North West LondonNHS Foundation Trust provide a range of community-based and inpatient services including specialist LD Psychiatry services across 8 London Boroughs and Milton Keynes.

Successful applicant will be joining a dynamic group of Psychiatrists and other professional disciplines in well led service that is committed to good quality of care and professional growth. Central and North West LondonNHS Foundation Trust hosts variety of core & Higher training posts as well as medical students from Imperial College.

Registrations

o Introducing Marquee to new sub-contractors - make sure all new sub-contractors are contacted within our set timescales

o Sending out registration packs by email/direct from the system, Marque Connect

o Chasing missing documents

o Reconciling registration documents via Marquee Connect

o Checking Right to Work documents, conducting BRP and ECS checks

o Chasing missing documents on a daily basis

o Approving registration documents for import to Merit (payroll software) and conducting compliance checks

· Payroll

o Running payroll end to end for your portfolio of clients using Merit payroll software

o Import client payrolls, reconciliation of data and raising then sending invoices

o Preparing payment batches

o Emailing and posting of payslips

o Sending out Net pay SMS to workers

o Processing adjustments for workers at clients' requests

· Queries

o Dealing with payroll queries from workers

o Liaising with clients to ensure smooth running payrolls

o Escalate queries to Payroll Manager when necessary

o Sending payroll documents (Payslips, P45s etc)

· Adhoc

o Checking post inbox & distributing to the team. Franking post and ensuring this is send by daily deadline

o Assisting accounts department

o Learning then continuously expanding knowledge of HMRC & CIS legislation

o Scanning documents onto the system & filing
