The role:

Head of Operations As a member of the Senior Management Team you will lead on the delivery of high quality advice and information across a wide geographical area with diverse delivery channels.


The successful candidate will be an experienced manager, with skills and expertise in people management and a can do attitude.

The role will require good analytical skills and a desire to increase efficiency across all areas of responsibility.


You should be educated to degree level or equivalent with excellent PC literacy skills.
Experience of working within a Citizens Advice setting is not essential.

The post will be based at Chorley/South Ribble offices.


Travel will be required throughout the geographical area of benefit of Citizens Advice Lancashire West.


Terms and conditions 21 days paid holiday, 8 bank holidays and a Christmas Closedown at the discretion of the Trustee Board.

Long service leave entitlement: 1 day for each completed year of service over four years up to a maximum of five extra days leave per year.
8% non-contributory pension.

Main duties of the job

Wordsworth Terrace provides 24-hour support, assessment and treatment for individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, who require onsite and community support around daily living skills for a short to medium term period before being supported back to their own home. Tasks might include support with cleaning, shopping, budgeting, socialising, arranging appointments, and all other activities required to live a satisfactory daily life.

Applicants should be aware that at times they might be working with service users whose behaviour may be considered a challenge such as low motivation, poor hygiene or verbal abuse. Successful applicants will be expected to work flexible shifts including evenings, sleeps, weekends and bank holidays.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Event Organiser)

Cheeki Monkeys are recruiting event organisers for a varied role within our already successful team.

 

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

 

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events
  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums
  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via Social Media platforms
  • Building relationships with family orientated business
  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.

 

Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all of the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. Our mentoring techniques are valued highly by our existing team of event organisers.
