£21,000 to £23,000 pro rata

RHS Garden Wisley, Woking, Surrey

Are you an enthusiastic label engraver? Would you like to help keep our visitors informed via your creative work? The Label Engraver role is within the Interpretation team and is about sharing information on the plants and features in the garden with our visitors.

We need a motivated person to produce labels and signage for our existing gardens and future projects. You will have experience of working with external suppliers and maintaining machinery and stock. Prior experience of working in gardens would help but is not essential. Strong skills with a computerised engraving system and associated software, such as a Trotec laser engraver is key.

You will have a wealth of proven practical experience, be computer literate, with excellent manual and technical skills. You will be highly organised and able to work to budgets and deadlines. Plant knowledge beyond a basic level would be an advantage but is not essential. Strong label engraving skills with a laser machine are what we are looking for.
