Job responsibilities

10.Produce repeat prescriptions according to practice procedures and ensure timely distribution of completed prescriptions.

11.Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. are filed electronically in correct patient record.

12.Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy

13.Re-stocking of information leaflets as appropriate

14.Answering incoming telephone calls, ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly.

15.Undertake administration tasks as allocated on rota organised by Senior Receptionist.

16.

Action start and end of day procedures ensure answering machine service for out of hours information is directed appropriately switched to answer machine at close of business each day.

17.

Ensure up-to-date maintenance of both computerised and manual filing systems (i.e. patient notes).

18.

Check emails on a daily basis. Also regularly check fax machine for incoming messages. Send faxes as required.

19.

Regularly check message column on Vision to check all messages have been actioned.

20.

Maintain deceased board (manual and electronic). Advise Health Board of deceased patients using Vision.

21.

Amalgamation of new patient records.

22.

Check fridge daily for lab specimens.

23.

We are looking to recruit Phlebotomists to expand our teams at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital and other local community clinics throughout South Essex. As a Phlebotomist you will be taking blood samples from patients for all our pathology services.

This role is ideally suited for someone who is caring, friendly and has an extremely steady hand. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work and communicate with a large team across multiple sections.

Our Phlebotomy services are available Monday to Friday 07.00am – 20.00pm and at weekends and bank holidays 07.00am – 13.00pm. Due to the wide operating times, you would be working a combination of shifts each week which would include early and late shifts. Weekends and bank holidays are essential and also an expectation for this role, however they are on a rotational basis.

A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential, as you will be required to travel to a variety of community clinic locations, previous experience is not essential as we offer full training. Successful applicants will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Company:

Pentalver Transport is an award winning container logistics company.  We are currently recruiting for a permanent Container Handling Equipment (CHE) Driver to join our team in London Gateway depot.  As a CHE Driver you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles in the container yard in a safely and timely manner.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Container Handling Equipment Driver Responsibilities:

•Grade containers to customer requirements.
•Operate empty and loaded container handling equipment.
•Steam clean containers.
•Introduce manual VBS for hauliers when depot is full.
•Set up reefer set points when no reefer engineers available.
•Ensure vehicles are serviced with the correct container.
•Ensure containers are stacked in accordance with the safe system, in a safe manner.
•Continually communicate with estimators and container control, to ensure efficient working and accuracy in terms of the correct container availability on time.
•Traffic duties.
•Assist and support the Reefer department in the department with all requirements where appropriate.
•Maintain health and safety standards.

Container Handling Equipment Driver Requirements:

•Full UK driving licence.
•Experience in a counterbalance forklift preferred.
•A mature approach to H&S.
•The ability to ensure records are maintained, with attention to detail.
•A strong team player.
•Flexible to work outside normal business hours and overtime as needed.
