We are currently looking to recruit a Helpdesk Technician to join our growing Helpdesk. As a Helpdesk Technician, you will act as the first point of contact for all IT Farm customers, ensuring support calls and online tickets are responded to within agreed SLA limits, worked on and closed quickly, efficiently and to the customers complete satisfaction or escalated within the SLA to the relevant second line team.

To operate the telephone system including: receiving and making calls as required; diverting calls and taking messages as appropriate; ensuring that the telephone system is operational at the beginning of each day; and that it is switched over to the night service at the end of each working day.
To perform the start of day procedures including: checking all samples are ready to be collected; cancelling phone diversion to MEDS; and all necessary preparation made to receive patients.
To perform the end of day procedures including: checking the consultation windows are locked; that computers and printers are turned off; that the lights and doors are locked; that all patients notes are locked away; divert telephone to MEDS.; whenever possible leave reception area tidy for the next working day; and ensure all patients notes are filed away after surgery. Secure the offices and leave.
Other specific duties may be assigned as appropriate with prior agreement and training.
