It is one of the Big Four auditors and is ranked as the most prestigious accounting firm in the world. In fact, PwC is also the largest professional services firm in the world. The network controlled by Pricewaterhouse Coopers has offices in 157 countries and had a revenue of $35.4 billion in 2015. The company has a total of 756 locations with over 208,100 employees.

PwC has a long history, starting as Coopers & Lybrand in 1854 and Price Waterhouse in 1849. The companies merged in 1998, creating the PricewaterhouseCoopers brand. This is still the legal name, though the company started rebranding in 2010 as PwC.
