The role:

As part of Hogarth’s on-site team at Dyson, this is your chance to challenge convention and see opportunities where others see problems. Housed within Dyson’s Malmesbury creative hub, you’ll be working with our dedicated team who are focused on bringing to life Dyson’s innovative approaches to technology and engineering.

 

The Versioning Editor is responsible for adapting moving sequences and video edits from supplied assets and projects for social media content. You’ll be experienced in adapting supplied files to brand guidelines and ensure they’re delivered on time and to spec.


Key deliverables of the role (not limited to):

  • Adapt film, social statics and, to a lesser extent, motion graphics to guidelines from client supplied files
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the on-site studio, the client and the wider Hogarth team
  • Deliver a consistently high quality of work that is on-brand within the agreed timeframes
  • Be proactive in resolving any issues that arise, escalating as appropriate for support if needed
  • Investigate and resolve errors as highlighted by QC, following up with feedback as appropriate
  • Respond promptly to information requests (as required) from management stakeholders
  • Demonstrate and champion a clear understanding of the brand
  • Strive to uphold and improve client and stakeholder relations
  • Manage work using relevant HWW technologies and adhere to agreed processes, ensuring that best practice is applied at all times
  • Attend and input to meetings in relation to account relationships, team collaboration, workflow, workload management and issue resolution
  • Champion, promote and lead by example in view of key Hogarth policies, procedures and values

 

Requirements:

  • Professional experience as Versioning Editor
  • Good After Effects skills
  • Good Photoshop skills
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro or Premier Pro
  • Experience with sound editing software is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in Sketch desirable, but not essential
  • Experience of producing work for various social platforms
  • Awareness of technical specifications for online & social deliveries
  • Experience of working to brand guidelines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Takes pride in their work and can set up clean, tidy projects that can be shared
  • Ability to take direction and follow briefs
