Role Purpose

As a UX Designer you will be part of an industry award-winning, forward thinking, cross functional technology team.

Reporting to the Senior Product Owner and working within an experienced Marketing Team, the successful candidate will liaise with Channel Managers, Design & Development Team to ensure delivery of design to brief.

This is a hands on role where the successful applicant will be given scope to use all their digital design knowledge and skills to shape thinkmoney’s digital design and online user experiences.

This is an important role within the Think Money Ltd Marketing Team and you will be expected to work closely with Senior Members of the Team and with Managers across the business.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Be part of collaborative team delivering of projects from conception all the way through to execution, across web and mobile.
  • To work within the brand guidelines, demonstrate highly developed problem solving abilities
  • Prototype key features with UX/IA
  • Ability to justify creative decisions to stakeholders and how they would benefit the brand
  • Taking creative/design responsibility of allocated projects and to create new and innovative features
  • Ability to translate wireframes and prototypes into visual & interaction designs
  • Initiate and spearhead major UI re-factorings for a more intuitive user-experience
  • Ensure all designs deliver a commercial benefit with a user centric focus

Essential Criteria

  • At least 3+ years Digital experience, with a commercial understanding of how good design positively affects conversion of data
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be committed, reliable and capable of working well both independently and as a part of a team
  • Advanced skills in the software such as Sketch, Adobe creative suite, Invision, Axure.
  • A portfolio that includes high quality digital work as well as wireframes and interaction designs
  • Ability to adapt to a workflow that will involve Sketch and Invision to work with developers to create and maintain a living, front-end style guide and UI pattern library
  • Experience developing digital design concepts and bringing these to life with stunning visual designs
  • A natural flair for creative design with excellent layout/composition, typographical and aesthetic coherence
  • Highly motivated, organised, proactive, enthusiastic and resourceful, with the ability to work on a number of different and varied projects at one time, often to tight deadlines.
