Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a prestigious company based in Scunthorpe on a newly created opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and progressive Accounts Assistant to utilise their skill set within a fast-paced environment to provide support across a broad range of duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & to provide general support to the finance team.

Duties of the Accounts Assistant:

- Sales invoice processing
- Weekly aged debtor and creditor management and reporting
- Managing and solving customer queries relating to invoices
- Daily cash flow reporting
- Cash allocation
- Uploading payments into the bank account
- Petty cash, expenses & credit card management
- KPI reporting & Analysis
- Intrastat & EC sales reporting
- Completing month-end reports
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Processing, matching and posting purchase invoices
- Supplier account reconciliations
- Preparing invoice payment runs
- General support to finance team when necessary

Skills required:

* AAT Studier
* Previous experience within an all round Accounts Assistant Role
* Strong Excel (Look Ups & Pivot Tables)
* Self-motivated & target-focused
* Strong communication skills (verbally and written)
* Sage Line 50 experience (desirable)
