About this role


We are seeking a strong software Product Owner to deliver the best software solutions to support our Revenue Assurance operations. In this role you will utilise your extensive domain knowledge, product design skills and leadership experience to provide subject matter expertise to support the development of effective business assurance controls. This role is key in producing standardised and scalable solution designs of assurance controls using data, analytical tools and reporting capabilities.


You'll have the following responsibilities


• Utilise your knowledge of revenue assurance and/ or analytics/ BI tools to provide vision and direction to the Agile Development Team and create product requirements

• Build business partnering relationships with key stakeholders to inform development of our product vision, road-map and growth opportunities

• Engage with our internal teams to understand the requirements and deliver technical consultancy where required to build up the product requirements

• Using your leadership and agile delivery experience, lead scrum teams as the Product Owner and ensure an adequate workload is maintained in line with pre agreed timelines

• Work closely with Product Management to create, maintain and deliver the product backlog according to business value or ROI

• Develop standard and scalable designs to optimise development timelines and maximise returns

• Play a key role in mitigating risks and issues impacting the successful completion of Release/Sprint goals

• Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities

• Provide the Architecture Team with detailed requirements for the data feeds required for the current and future development of all controls and insights

• Execute periodic governance checks with the Technical Solution Delivery teams to review and confirm the control products developed conform to the solution design and BT’s enterprise architecture

• Develop and provide internal tools training and technical coaching to all teams to prepare and promote technical and analytical skills in order to increase tool adoption

• Promote innovation by leading and/or participating in research and development activities using new technologies, tools and techniques; carrying out trials of new technologies to demonstrate their suitability


You'll have the following skills & experience


• Solution design and architecture experience

• Demonstrable experience in a Revenue Assurance domain highly desirable but not mandatory

• Technical product knowledge and end to end reconciliation experience

• Expert in data analysis and problem solving

• Expertise and competence using technologies such as Hitachi Pentaho, Mobileum RAID or Oracle Suite / PL SQL

• Reporting Tools such Qlik Sense/Tableau

• Agile Product Owner certification (SAFE Agilest or SAFE Product Owner) desirable
