Solicitor- 1-5 PQE- Property Disputes

We are looking for a 1-5PQE solicitor to join our property disputes offering in Bath.

The successful candidate will be expected to consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner, delivering outstanding client service at all times. To assist with the marketing of the department’s services and undertaking business development activities to build on the firm and team’s reputation for excellence.

Duties will include:

• Manage a caseload of residential and commercial property disputes files, under supervision where appropriate, dealing effectively with cases and transactions
• Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set
• Deal directly with client to take instructions and ensures full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations

• Research and draft article and assists with the production of marketing materials

• Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts and potential referrers and attends networking events

• Encourages juniors/ trainees and gives feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate

• Understands, learns and applies all business processes applicable to own work learning new processes as required

Skills & Experience:

• 1-5PQE solicitor.
• Experience within property disputes area of law.
• Ability to manage own files with minimal supervision.
• Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service.
• Organised and able to effectively prioritise.
