The role:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support and evolve our Project Management team. This is a critical department to the running of an effective and efficient agency. As a result, the project management function is highly valued. Reporting into the Project Management Lead, this SPM, with support from the account handling leads, will help to hone and drive our processes, ensure optimal internal workflow and resource management. We’re looking for someone whose unflappable presence makes them indispensable. 

 

At CDM, our teams work really closely together across departments and with our clients. You will be used to working with accounts, creative and external production to lead the delivery on print, campaign, experiential, and digital projects including e-Details, websites, banners and apps.

 

*Rather than having a pre-defined job title, we’re looking for someone who brings the right mindset, attitude and passion to their work. Once we find them, we’ll know, and we’ll determine the appropriate job title from there.

 

About you:

You will be passionate about healthcare and about the role that our work can play in promoting strong, well-informed decisions around health issues for all audiences.

Positive, collaborative and confident, you make them feel like everything’s going to work out just fine if you’re involved. Prioritising workload as well as highlighting and managing any potential issues is second nature, and you take pride in ensuring great work comes as standard. Inquisitive and determined, you’ll always aim to find a creative solution to any problem, and will ensure you’re up to date with digital trends to make that possible.

 

You’ll also be a firm believer in the importance of making work fun. It’s advertising: if we’re not having fun, we’re not doing it right!

 

Key responsibilities

  • Own daily standup, timelines, resource allocation and vendour sourcing and communication
  • Ensure process adherence across all departments and facilitate workflow transparency
  • Oversight of internal tracking systems
  • Manage and if necessary escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Interpret client briefs and requirements and help to define project requirements
  • Create project documentation (including but not limited to scope of work, project timeline, maintenance log and technical documentation)
  • Input on clients’ proposals with regards to ball park figures and timeline
  • Support digital projects by coordinating deliverables from internal and external sources, including technology and user experience, manage external development teams
  • Support print projects by coordinating tasks and deliverables including production, graphic services and external vendors as required
  • Liaise daily with all relevant parties on project status
  • Support financial health of all assigned projects in order to mitigate risks

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous agency experience across a broad range of print and digital
  • Healthcare creative agency background is a plus but not essential
  • Proactive, critical thinker with strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Demonstrated track record of delivery
  • Experience in using project management software to create project plans, e.g. MS Project and in creating project documentation, i.e. project plans, SOW, technical spec
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
