Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer or Geotechnical Engineers
Mansfield, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Derby
Salary / Benefits:
To be suitable for the position you must have;
-Experience in using Ground Investigation Data Management software such as Holebase/GINT
-Relevant University degree, BEng or BSc or equivalent in Geology, Geotechnics, Environmental Science or similar, and ideally Chartered status with the Geological Society
-Robust knowledge of soil geotechnical properties, ground investigation techniques, exploratory hole logging/sampling and laboratory testing methodologies
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
-Experience implementing and working with GIS systems for GI management purposes
-Knowledge and experience of using standards and good practice around a variety of areas including earthworks, environmental assessment, remediation, coal workings, geotechnical aspects such as slope stability, foundation recommendations
-Experience in role of investigation supervisor or contractors responsible engineer.
- Role to be based out of Mansfield but working on the high profile HS2 project.
-Contaminated land assessment and making recommendation for site remediation using appropriate best practice and technical guidance
-Planning, execution and reporting of Phase 1 and Phase 2 Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical site investigations
