It has aspects of private equity, feels like a start-up, but is still connected to BP, focused on accessing the unique advantages that a corporate can bring, whilst maintaining its own unique identity.

As a Senior DealLead, you will work across Deal Evaluation & Execution, Portfolio Management & Governance, Organic / Inorganic Investments. With your analytical and strategic mind, your role will be to help business leaders understand how the business’s model and strategy needs to evolve to sustain future profitability and enable fit-for-purpose investments to grow enterprise value.
You will report to our Chief Investment Officer and get involved in a varied and wide range of commercial, financial, and strategic activities to provide exceptional deal leadership and portfolio management support to both Launchpad our start-ups. Due to the varied nature of the role, there is a great opportunity to learn and to achieve career progression as well as to work on some interesting challenges that require creative thinking and the full range of interpersonal and professional skills.
Whilst a track record within software / digital / tech investments is important and an interest in our markets is essential, prior investment experience in ‘clean-tech’ is not.
