The British Library has a rare opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst in our Architecture & Design Team, based in Boston Spa (Wetherby), (requirement is to be in the office one day a week at present).

About you:

  •  Previous experience in designing functional, user-focused experiences across various technology platforms;
  •  Proven ability to map out current and to-be solutions using business process mapping;
  •  Experience of taking information from multiple sources and synthesising conclusions for both a technical and a non-technical audience;
  •  Ability to present information in a variety of forms, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and diagrams;
  •  Experience of working with senior level stakeholders to prioritise requirements and mediating between multiple perspectives;
  •  Ability to convince and influence senior decision makers on the benefits, costs and risks of different approaches to business problems
  •  Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and use an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery.
  •  Able to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP)

The post holder will be expected to travel between the Library's main sites of Boston Spa and St Pancras.
