Requirements

  • We are seeking lawyers who possess a specific interest in insolvency law who have a broad range of experience in restructuring work

  • Future associates should be keen to handle a range of insolvency & restructuring transactions and to do high quality work
  • Experience of working at a leading international law firm

Responsibilities

Your role as an associate will include:

  • Advising clients on legal and commercial issues
  • Drafting/negotiating transaction documents
  • Managing transactions
  • Managing and developing client relationships
  • Actively participating in business development/client events
  • Training/managing trainees/junior lawyers
  • You can expect to receive a wide variety of high quality work from a range of partners, with whom you will work closely.

 

The Individual

  • Strong technical and commercial abilities

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers / trainees
  • Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
  • Able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload
  • Proactive involvement in business development and knowledge management
