We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Manager to join our UK Healthcare business.
This is a key strategic role in our business where you will help the research and project management teams manage workloads effectively to deliver outstanding work for our clients.
You will report to the UK Operations Director. You will also work in close partnership with the Managing Partner and Partners.
You are skilled at allocating resources to projects and at implementing efficient processes and ways of running projects and accounts.
We are looking for proactive, positive leaders who have a determination to drive resourcing efficiencies and manage workload of multiple teams. We are open to a variety of professional backgrounds, but we need someone who can deliver across a broad spectrum of projects.
Leads resourcing for the UK Health division, working in partnership with research and project management teams. Identifies and allocates project team members based on expertise and availability.
Develops a strong understanding of client needs and contributes to strategic problem solving to achieve clients’ goals in a timely and efficient way.
Understands the division and company goals. Responsible for communicating business needs and implementing resourcing strategy on projects.
Ensures teams and partners have a clear understanding of objectives, activities and time-frames, taking into account different individual needs, views and ideas.
Plans timelines and schedules of projects in a systematic way.
Runs a database of freelancers and takes responsibility for the necessary paperwork.
Oversees timesheets compliance. Plays an active role in motivating people to complete timesheets. Runs reports on research hours budgeted for projects vs actual hours.
Works with Operations Director to track financial performance of projects managed by the team; including ensuring that projects are closed efficiently and within budget.
Takes a leadership role in driving efficiency across the team.
Able to play a leading role when Hall & Partners pitch for new business, supporting the research and project management teams to deliver the best proposals.
Works with Partners to ensure the team acquire the skills needed to deliver our strategy through coaching, training and on the job learning.
Stays up to date and can talk knowledgably about developments in our industry and beyond, identifying and sharing new ways of doing things as well as the latest developments with local and international regulations and codes of conduct.

Has experience of managing teams to deliver a quality service within a complex and demanding environment, to specific budgets and timelines.
Experienced in market research – knowledge of how to field different types of studies, use several types of data, including non-primary research data. Has knowledge of research workflow and timings.
Expertise in healthcare market research desirable, but not essential.
