Quality Controller

Location:    Prospect Place, East Pimbo, SkelmersdaleLancashire, WN8 9QD

We are currently looking to recruit Quality Controllers.

Responsible for ensuring food safety and quality, this is an essential role within the business.

As a key frontline person, you will become fully conversant with Quality systems to ensure food safety, quality, legislative standards and customer requirements are consistently met and managed.

As a Quality Controller,you will need:

• Good organisation and computer literate skills
• Basic Food Hygiene

Working a rotational shift based rota you will support line teams by identifying non-conformances and working with managers, advise and implement necessary corrective actions, whilst ensuring quality inspection and rating measures are in line with the required standards.

We will require you to carry out hygiene, GMP and traceability audits, assist in the control of non-conforming products, keep comprehensive records and conduct product taste panels.

You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, p.c. literate and have a positive approach and a commitment to providing a first-class customer service.

Whilst the above skills would be advantageous full training will be given
