Product Marketing Manager - Mobile Accessories

Salary: £30,000 to 38,000, based on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mobile Fun to manage our mobile accessories product range, including our Olixar own-brand product range.  In this role you'll manage a small but highly capable team to continuously expand our product range as new mobile devices are launched and we expand into new product categories.

We're the UK's leading e-commerce retailer for mobile device accessories, with a comprehensive range of accessories for the latest mobile phones.  We've been going strong for 20 years, we're based in Birmingham with around 70 employees, some based overseas and others working remotely.  We're an ambitious and motivated team and we're proud that we keep beating the competition to thrive as the world's best online retailer for mobile device accessories.


Job Responsibilities

  • Managing our Products team to expand the product range for new mobile devices and new product categories.
  • Managing product performance - ensuring products are listed and promoted effectively.
  • Setting product prices and managing gross margins, as well as taking actions to manage efficient stock turn.
  • Identifying new product opportunities, working with our suppliers and buyers and sourcing team to bring these to market.
  • Forecasting sales for new products, making range decisions and using spreadsheet models to manage product performance.
  • Coaching a small team to develop talent and improve business performance by setting KPIs and development goals

About you

  • You will have a passion for consumer technology and you'll be excited about being immersed in the fast-paced and innovative mobile accessories market.
  • Your previous experience might come from retail, marketing, e-commerce or selling through online marketplaces.  You'll be familiar with selling online through platforms like Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Woocommerce, etc.
  • You'll be experienced in managing a team, comfortable delegating work and working as a trusted member of a dynamic management team.
  • You'll be comfortable managing a busy daily workload for your team while managing multiple projects.
  • You’ll have experience of developing people and nurturing talent.
