Job Profile

The Product Manager EMEA – Pipe and Fittings, is responsible for both current product/portfolio management and new product development. Being able to Identify opportunities for enhancements to current products based on market needs, customer feedback and technical capability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the strategic development of product lines in terms of innovation and technology, and subsequent delivery of value to current and developing markets.
  • Primary point of contact for all product-line related issues – working with technical support, service and quality as necessary.
  • Work with sales and marketing to identify market opportunities and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Group to understand, recommend and develop product opportunities.
  • Discover and qualify opportunities for profitable new product development.
  • Research identified opportunities to create product specifications, business cases and supporting information.
  • Lead project teams (with all relevant departments) to develop and execute the NPD process.
  • Proactive lifecycle analysis and portfolio management of current product lines; monitor and take/recommend action as appropriate.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop compelling collateral, packaging and campaigns for existing and new products.
  • Build strong working relationships with the quality and engineering teams to understand and influence the compliance bodies and shape industry standards.

About you:

  • Experience working as a product manager and/or experience working in a technical role in the development, introduction and technical support of a given product range.
  • Experience of the plumbing industry and knowledge of plumbing and heating systems is a distinct advantage.

Qualifications & Skills

  •  Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred).
  •  Extensive experience within product management role.
  •  Significant relevant commercial experience.

  • Experience of the product life cycle current product management and new product development including successful introduction to the market.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivation with the ability to keep many projects on schedule
  • Teamwork and decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets, KPIs, and deadlines consistently
  • Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project
