Practice Ignition is hiring a Partnerships Manager to join the ‘Go to market’ team, taking accountants and bookkeepers on a journey to move their traditional methods of client engagement to a business critical platform that offer their customers sleek and professional branded experiences. We are automating large parts of their business including invoicing, payments and workflows. Your role is to build relationships and improve and formalise existing working relationships to create scalable potential for increases in number of customers. We’re now looking for talented, motivated self-starters to join our team in our future … office. You will also be a team player who is eager to lead a team and grow with the company.

What you'll be doing? 

  • Create new and build on existing partner relationships to focus on go to market opportunities and building out the sales channel by driving MQLs and Trials
  • Source speaking slots at sales & marketing events, attend sales and marketing events aiming to create meaningful partnerships to drive acquisition
  • Stay informed of all industry news and trends, incorporate it into content strategy
  • Participate in events & marketing to help boost PIs presence in your local market
  • Build brand awareness in your local market
  • Provide up to date partnership forecasts and insights to Head of Region
  • Maintain your sales activities in the CRM and provide support and coaching to peers across the region
  • Will be responsible for growing and gaining an ROI on all third party working relationships
  • Communicate with marketing team to execute launch plans with strategic third parties
  • Will communicate regular activities with third parties
  • Work on strategic business cases for new product integrations
  • Review GTM strategies with partners in each market and help find solutions we need and partnerships to boost our position in those markets. 
  • Manage the co-GTM events
  • Build marketing campaigns to boost this channel and get more buy in from third party apps
  • Assist with sales when capacity requirements dictate


What experience and skills we are looking for?

  • You have 3+ years experience in a comparable sales role, ideally in a high growth SAAS company. Bonus if you have experience within the ecosystem. 
  • Experience in a professional services firm, or an understanding of how a professional services business operates, would be beneficial. 
  • You understand what goes into change management and you enjoy a good objection handling session.
  • You’re someone who can engage in robust and articulate dialogue while maintaining an open mind. 
  • Happy to work both autonomously, but also with a strong team ethic. We may reward individual effort, but we most certainly play as a team in everything we do.
  • You have an unshakeable desire to get creative and make sure we have the measuring capabilities to determine the ROI/effectiveness of a campaign/idea. 
  • You have a sense of humor, and the ability to focus yet still have a laugh in high-pressure situations.
  • Comfortable working with globally distributed teams who bring together complementary skill sets.
  • A skilful and dependable person who recognises that there is always more to learn.
  • You’re willing to travel a few times a year for industry conferences and internal meetups.
