Cambridge International’s Operations team has 8 fixed term roles available for organised, efficient, proactive administrators to join a fast-paced operations environment providing world class operational support to our customers and qualifications.

Operations teams

Cambridge International Operations is made up of several departments each responsible for key processes that ensure we can deliver qualifications securely and successfully to schools and students around the world. These 8 administrator roles sit with the following Operations departments:

  • Products & Scheduling: data setup in our systems to ensure all downstream exam processes can continue on schedule, as well as creating school-facing documents to help them manage each exam series
  • Test & Document Production: support the production of assessment materials to schedule and to agreed quality standards, including question papers and admin materials
  • Assessment Specialist & Marking: support examiners through our three examination series, managing recruitment, deployment, support via a dedicated help desk, through to QA of marking exam scripts
  • Exam Processing: process exams data at different stages of the exams process, including ensuring marks for completed exams are input to our systems correctly.
  • Results: issue results online to schools and students, handle any enquiries about results, as well as providing a range of other post-result services
  • Operations Support Team: support the work of all the Operations teams, providing additional people to support teams through busy periods


What you will be doing

  • You will quickly develop a good working understanding of processes in the team you are placed with, and with training will take responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of an agreed set of operational processes
  • You will process and analyse data accurately, respond to customer queries, investigate issues and perform quality checks where appropriate
  • You will establish collaborative working relationships with your colleagues, learning and sharing best practice together
  • You will, depending on the process you’re working on, be required from time to time to work from our distribution centre, DC10, on the outskirts of Cambridge

  • You are able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively
  • You are a proficient user of Microsoft Office products (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Prior knowledge of our in-house operations system is an advantage, but full training will be given
