Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £47,000 - £52,000 per annum

Hours: Panama Shift Pattern – 3s & 2s (12-hour shifts, 6am–6pm)

The Role

They’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their friendly and supportive group of 8 engineers.

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, and part of a wider Engineering team, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping their operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

•Performing both planned and reactive maintenance (electrical & mechanical)
•Diagnosing faults and implementing robust fixes
•Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
•Collaborating with production teams to reduce downtime
•Maintaining and updating their CMMS (MVP system)
•Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Skills and Qualifications

•Proven food manufacturing experience
•Strong electrical skills with multi-skilled capabilities
•A team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
